These terms cover how listing and lead billing work for contractors on Strata Tradies. By listing your business, you agree to them.

Free to list

Listing your business is free. You are only charged when a genuine enquiry (a “lead”) is delivered to you.

What a lead costs

Each lead is $9 + GST ($9.90). A lead is a genuine enquiry from a committee, strata manager or owner, sent to you through the site’s enquiry form, with valid contact details.

Billed on delivery, not conversion

You are charged when a valid lead reaches you — whether or not you win the job. Bringing you the enquiry is the service; what happens afterwards is between you and the enquirer.

How you are billed

Leads are invoiced monthly, on the 1st, for the previous month’s leads. You pay by bank transfer — no card is kept on file and none is needed to sign up. Every invoice is an itemised tax invoice showing each lead, the GST and our ABN.

Shared enquiries

An enquirer may send one brief to more than one contractor. The enquirer chooses who receives it, and each contractor selected is a separate lead.

Invalid leads — 7-day credit

If a lead is invalid — spam, a duplicate, a fake, or bad contact details — flag it within 7 days of delivery from your dashboard. We review it, and confirmed invalid leads are credited before your next invoice. A lead you simply did not win is not invalid and is not credited.

Insurance

To receive leads you must hold current public liability cover of at least $20 million and keep your certificate of currency up to date. We remind you 30 days and 7 days before it expires. If it lapses, new leads pause automatically until you upload a current certificate in your dashboard. Nothing is billed while leads are paused.

Founding members

The first five contractors in each trade category, in each region, receive Founding Member status. Founding members get their leads free for their first 6 months. Free leads are still delivered and still itemised on your monthly invoice at $0 so you can see the value. After 6 months, the standard $9 + GST ($9.90) per lead applies.

Pausing or leaving

You can pause new leads or remove your listing at any time by contacting us. You remain responsible for leads already delivered before you pause or leave.
